Ryder Huey is Professional Writing major at Kutztown University set to graduate in Spring 2021. His poetry has been published in Essence Magazine. He is the recipient of the 2018-2019 Mary S. Kittel Award in Writing for Social and Environmental Justice.
Huey is also an active musician, playing in bands Scarlet Moon and Filthy McNasty. He is a drummer/percussionist as well as a lyricist in both bands. Scarlet Moon’s debut, Fifth Dimension, is set to release in the Spring of 2020.
